VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
SUMMER CAMP
JULY 12 THROUGH JULY 17
Vacation Bible School Summer Camp is from Sunday, 12 July until Thursday, 16 July from 9AM-12 Noon. Be sure to register your children ages 3 to 12 NOW!
An all new Holy Land Adventure: Rome immerses learners of all ages in Bible-times culture, helping children and adults explore what it might have been like to live as the church was just beginning. Participants will experience new traditions, taste new foods, try new arts and crafts projects, and discover that God's love is the most powerful gift, saving us from our sins. Each day your kids will visit Paul's home, soaking in Scripture as Paul shares what he's writing and applies it to their experience. To hear from Paul, chained to a Roman guard.it's memorable learning?and powerful!
Our church picnic will be on Sunday, 12 July in Lincoln Park following the 11AM service, which also happens to be the opening day of the Vacation Bible School Summer Camp. Bring your own lunch and beverage to this all-ages event and meet us in the park for a hopefully sunny afternoon of fun and fellowship. Check back next week for the exact location!
If you are able to help, we are looking for people with the following gifts: kitchen helpers, sports/activities coordinator, outreach people and decorators. If you have a gift not listed above, or is you would like to find out more information about serving our church in through VBS- Summer Camp, please contact Deaconess Brenna Nunes.

Fall Fun in September - Oktoberfest!
Your help is welcome at this year's Oktoberfest for an evening of fun and assistance toward a good cause. There are a variety of fun volunteer opportunities available the evening of September 26th. This year's beneficiaries of our Oktoberfest fundraising will include the church's many outreach programs and missions, in addition to helping with the church's physical needs, specifically, replacing the building's roof. We seek assistance with the silent auction, food, front door and set up. Put your talents to good use! Please contact Mike Vrshek, Oktoberfest committee chair, for further details Michael.A.Vrshek@usa.dupont.com or 312-804-5854
