Peter wrote his first letter to give hope and encouragement to Christionas enduring trials and persecutions. Are you in heed of hope and encouragement in the midst of your trials? One session will be devoted to each chapter of this five-chapter letter. The study will be led by David Rogner, Professor of English at Concordia University and an elder at First Saint Paul's Church.

The group will meet for Bible study from 7-8PM followed by a trip to a local pub or restaurant for food and fellowship. Join with other singles as we support each other in our faith journeys.

Near North Singles is a group of Christian singles ages 20 to 40ish living in or near Chicago. The group is organized and sponsored by First Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, but is open to the community as a whole. The group was formed to offer Christian singles a chance to meet others, and experience the many interesting and unique things Chicago has to offer. Previously we have planned monthly brunches and dinners, game nights, theater outings, and have attended outdoor festivals such as Venetian Night, and Ravinia. We also have Bible study twice each month, accompanied by games or an impromptu outing afterwards.  For more information contact the church office.
