“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” – John 15:13
Continuing our tradition of honoring the men and women who have served or are now serving in the U.S. armed forces, young people from our congregation will read the names of military friends and family of our First Saint Paul’s community before the 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, July 7.
A special insert in the service folder will include the names of these service men and women.
After the service, join us in the Fellowship Hall as we continue the celebration of our nation's birthday with a patriotic sing-along as part of our regular fellowship hour.
We are updating our list this year, so if you are a veteran or active service member, please add your name, branch of service, and dates you served to the sign-up sheet on the table in the church narthex or contact the church office.
If you have military friends and familiy members you’d like named, please add their name(s), their relationship to you, branch of service, and dates served to the sign-up sheet or contact the church office.
Even if you put forth names to be honored in the past, please add them to the list again.
Sign up before June 30th so we can join with you in honoring friends and family of First Saint Paul's who currently serve or have served.
