Book Club - Angels.jpg

Have you ever wondered: What are angels? What is their role in God's plan? Are they present? Do they appear? Do they give us personal insight about our work and our worship?

Beginning June 5 from 7-8:30PM, join us Wednesday evenings this summer in the First Saint Paul’s lounge for a guided discussion as we explore the book Angels: Who They Are and How They Help-What the Bible Reveals by Dr. David Jeremiah.

If you’re interested in joining us, please add your name to the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the church hallway. You can also buy the book at church beginning Sunday, May 19 for $6 (while supplies last). Both hard and digital versions of the book are available online through your favorite app or online store.

If you have questions, please contact Marlo Schulz-Kittl through the church office at 312-642-7172 or via email at mschulz@fspauls.org.

About the book (from amazon.com): “The remarkable truth about angels, the agents of Heaven unveiled through Scripture.”

For centuries, people have been fascinated by stories of angel sightings, yet many contemporary beliefs about them are based on misconception and myth rather than solid, biblical truth.

Responding to our modern cultural interest in angels, popular Bible teacher Dr. David Jeremiah provides an in-depth, biblical look at these agents of Heaven and their role in our world and our lives. In this broad and thorough survey of Scripture, Dr. Jeremiah clearly and simply separates fact from fiction as it relates to angels. His enlightening findings are supported with illustrations and insights from prominent teachers, such as Billy Graham, Corrie ten Boom, C. S. Lewis, and more.”
