Chicago Marathon Sunday

Chicago Marathon corner view

Join us early Sunday morning, October 13th as we welcome 40,000+ runners and hundreds of spectators to our neighborhood near the #ChiMarathon Mile-4 mark.

We’ll be cheering on our own Pastor Tom Johnson and other runners in the First Saint Paul’s community. There will be freshly-baked treats, hot coffee, and other beverages. We’ll have ample supplies to make your own motivational poster to encourage the runners as they pass by.

If you’d like to join us, show up at the NE corner of Goethe and LaSalle by 7 a.m. on Marathon Sunday. If you’d like to donate treats to share with guests, bring individually wrapped baked goods (please, no nuts) to the church on Saturday morning or on Marathon Sunday.

Plan to stay after the runners have past and join us for worship at 11 a.m.

Please let us know in the comments if you are running in the marathon so your FSP friends and family can pray for you and cheer you on. Then, watch for us and wave as you run by.
