Advent is a welcome opportunity for us to hit pause on all that’s going on in our world, and take time to focus on the advent (coming) of Christ’s birth. It is a time to ponder God’s gift to us--the gift of His only Son Jesus Christ--who came into our world to be the Light of the world.
Won't you join us for the third in a three-part Advent series focusing on "The Three Comings of the Lord" (St. Bernard of Clairvaux). This week, we look at Matthew 24:29-44, “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[b] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.” and join in singing " Lo! He Comes with Clouds Descending."
Many of us bring a brown-bag supper to enjoy in the company of members and guests. We welcome you to be at home among us.
