From mid-October through mid-December, using Ralph Brueggemann's book Prophetic Imagination as our guide, we look at the inspirational work of the prophets in the Bible beginning with Moses and ending with Jesus. Their boldness, clarity, and passion for the Kingdom of God in the face of worldly chaos and partisanship will help us walk the straight and narrow and find God's peace.
This discussion should help all of us navigate the current culture of partisan politics, religious extremism, and general anxiety about the world. It will help us as individuals and as a church find our voice to speak where God speaks and in a way that amazes and inspires those who come across our path.
