Explore the History of the Old Testament Exodus

You are invited to join the Wednesday Noon Bible Study group on a guided tour of artifacts from the time of the Exodus of the Israelites, ancient Egypt, Babylon, and the ancient Middle East with Pastor Ryan Tietz, Professor of Hebrew and Old Testament at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN. This small group has been exploring the Old Testament book of Exodus and is delighted to experience this personal tour of artifacts from this period.

We will meet in the entryway of First Saint Paul’s (1301 N. LaSalle St.) at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, August 20, and carpool to the Institute. If you prefer to meet us there, join us in the lobby of the Oriental Institute, 1155 E. 58th Street in Chicago at noon.

Admission to the museum is a suggested $10 donation for adult and $5 for children.

If you'd like to join us, please add your name to the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board at church or contact Pastor Johnson if you would like to attend. And, if you can volunteer to drive in the car pool, please let Pastor know how many you can transport.
