“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” – John 15:13
Continuing our tradition of honoring the men and women who have served and are now serving in the U.S. armed forces, young people from our congregation will read the names of military friends and family of our First Saint Paul’s community before the 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, July 1. A special insert in the service bulletin will include each of the names read aloud.
After the service, join us in the Fellowship Hall as we continue the celebration of our nation's birthday with a patriotic sing-along as part of our regular fellowship hour.
You can add the name(s) of your friends and family members who you’d like named to the sign-up sheets on the table in the church narthex or contact the church office. If you put forth names to be honored last year, you don’t need to do it again.
Please sign up before June 24th so we can join with you in honoring friends and family of First Saint Paul's who currently serve or have served.
