Honoring All Who Serve

Continuing our tradition of honoring the men and women who have served and are now serving in the U.S. armed forces, young people from our congregation will read the names of military friends and family of our First Saint Paul’s community before today’s worship service.

After the service, people will receive a small American flag as they leave the sanctuary and join in a short patriotic sing-along during the fellowship hour, followed by a brief round-table discussion on “What They Served For” in the lounge.

You can add the name(s) of your friends and family members who you’d like named during the pre-service reading to the sign-up sheets on the table in the church narthex. If you put forth names of people to be honored last year, you don’t need to list them again. If you’d like to honor additional friends or family members, please add their names to the lists.
