Advent is a welcome opportunity for us to hit pause on all that’s going on in our world, and take time to focus on the advent (coming) of Christ’s birth. It is a time to ponder God’s gift to us--the gift of His only Son Jesus Christ--who came into our world to be the Light of the world.
Won't you join us for the second in a three-part Advent series focusing on "The Three Comings of the Lord" (St. Bernard of Clairvaux). This week, we look at Luke 24:36-49, “While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, ‘Peace be with you,’” and join in singing "Comfort, Comfort Ye My People."
Many of us bring a brown-bag supper to enjoy in the company of members and guests. We welcome you to be at home among us.
